Employee Assistance Program Services

Protecting that asset has never been more important than it is today. Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) offer employers means to provide confidential problem identification and resolution, reduce absenteeism, offer an alternative to dismissal, and can reduce injury, and health costs.

The range of EAP services provided by Hopewell Place includes assessment and referral, problem solving and/ or short-term intervention, depending on the presenting problem(s), and training/education to the employer’s staff on various topics such as Detecting Substance Abuse in the Workplace, Depression, Team Building, Conflict Resolution, Time Management, Stress Management, and other topics that may be requested by the employer.

Employee Assistance Services provided by Hopewell Place are designed to assist:

  • Managers and other employees with supervisory responsibilities to arrive at effective strategies to maximum performance outcome by providing the training in methods of responding to employees with performance deficits.
  • Work organizations in addressing productivity issues that may affect job performance.
  • Employees and/ or family members in identifying and resolving personal concerns, such as:

Most common EAP package purchased includes:

  1. Provision of up to three (3) one hour (or its equivalent) for the purpose of the assessment/ referral during the term of the agreement to each referred employee.
  2. Hopewell Place arranges and provides follow-up counseling visits where needed; and in such cases where employees have been referred to other treatment or community resources, Hopewell Place will provide follow-up services to monitor the employee’s initial course of treatment and to assist as needed.
  3. Hopewell Place provides an orientation session for eligible participants, where feasible.
  4. Upon request, Hopewell Place will provide consultation to Your Company in developing policies and procedures governing the use of the EAP. The policies and procedures will relate to referrals, and will set forth the requirements of confidentiality and the general separation of the EAP from Your Company’s disciplinary process.
  5. Hopewell Place assists in promoting the awareness of the EAP to all of your employees.
  6. Hopewell Place consults with Your Company’s Human Resources personnel as needed in administering the program.
  7. Hopewell Place prepares quarterly reports on utilization, while protecting the confidentiality of the employees and their families utilizing the service.
